I Had A Dream

The keeper of the pond, who lived in the pond for as long as anyone knew, has died; now, the pond dies.

I am a Dreamer. I always have been. It is my life; it has been my work; it has always provided me with good information… make that “useful” information.

I felt a critical need to share this one publicly, strange as it may seem to many.

Dream: I am in the earth. Everything inside her is deteriorating. This has clearly been going on for a long time. All the creatures that live beneath the surface are slowly dying. The cicadas, however, have been adjusting, evolving to deal with the changes. On the surface of the planet only the horses seem to ‘know’ something of what is going on.

The ‘knowing’ is that this is a process that is underway — that has been underway — for a long time, longer than the idiot humans that have caused it understand. The earth struggles to survive as it masses its forces to eliminate the problem: humanity. The earth will survive, if barely. She will recover over a vast period of time. The so-called ‘lower’ species of life that manage to survive will support that.

Humanity will not survive.

Morning Song: I almost always awake from dream with a song ‘playing’ in my head. I awoke from this dream with the song “It’s Alright” by Alicia Keyes. In other words, I suppose… it is what it is, folks.
