I give my husband (whom I love very much) full control of the car temperature… at first and make adjustments after what seems like a reasonable amount of time only after requesting ‘permission.’ I, too, hate drafts and so simply direct all the ones that affect me away from me (which means towards the door and towards him). I don’t ask about that; I just do it. I love the subtle interplay and negotiations that support an enjoyable marriage!
