I believe you have hit humanity in general right on the nose. It sickens me both that this is more generally true than not and that some of the people hurt the worst by this don’t even realize how marginalized they’ve been. I say this because very few of our presidents (I can think of only two at the moment) seem to have been genuinely concerned about the lives of the majority of people in this country, (never mind the world!). And those very same people who are regularly dismissed as insignificant will vote these bastards into office again and again and again. I can’t wrap my head around it.
